The flow of operations and task lists of a corporate communications crisis are often buried in a draw or gathering dust on a shelf. This app places that essential material in the pockets of the core team should a crisis ever occur.

Project focus

  • Design a no frills, task-driven iOS app for a Crisis Management Team (CMT)—a selection of company executives and affiliates (legal, marketing) in charge of crisis control
  • Provide wireframes and prototypes for use during user testing and stakeholder interviews
  • The app should display pre-assigned tasks, allow for uploading and downloading of content, and retain an up-to-date directory of the CMT
  • Create a real time activity feed and the ability to view All tasks, My tasks, or Completed tasks
  • Show an overview of the crisis, adding any relevant media if necessary
  • Provide UX direction and art direction for junior design team members
  • Work alongside the iOS dev team to ensure pixel-perfect execution
